Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and water heaters.
- Build and lead a team of skilled HVAC technicians, and develop less-experienced techs.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Conduct field service operations involving appliance repair, equipment repair, welding, and property maintenance with precision and safety.
- Manage service calls efficiently, coordinating with clients on-site and clearly explaining repairs needed and preventive-maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, equipment status reports, schematics updates, and compliance documentation.
- Operate a company vehicle responsibly for timely transportation between job sites, following safety protocols at all times.
What you bring
- Licensed Master HVAC Technician with extensive HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with proficiency in plumbing, boiler operation, appliance repair, and general property maintenance.
- Ability to independently lead and grow a team.
- Proven ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals accurately.
- Field service experience with a focus on equipment repair.
- Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC system installation and upgrades in commercial or industrial settings.
- Familiarity with HVAC safety standards and local building codes; able to work safely in confined spaces or at elevated heights.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to operate company vehicles responsibly.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
